Building Communication/Trust Through Games – Pushing Performance
This interactive and energetic workshop aims to develop the foundations of success, stemming from effective communication and trust. Success has always been measured by performance and results; however, forming strong coach to player relationships is just as important and leads to sustainable results both on and off the field. During this workshop, you will experience games and activities that challenge levels of communication, leadership, and trust all whilst having fun and developing pathways in your sport.
Developing Effective Game-Centered Approaches & Questioning – ACHPER (SA)
This workshop will unpack a game centered approach, and how that approach and questioning of participants can engage your coaching. Questioning provides a critical link between the cognitive and social aspects of learning. The purpose of this session is to learn more about game centered approaches and how to use questioning models to promote deep thinking and dialogue. This practical session will showcase a number of simple and effective ideas to assist your work with young people.
